Thank you very much for your interest in The William Woodward, Jr. Nursery School!
For over 60 years, Woodward has provided a wonderful beginning school experience to children and their families. Each child's natural love of learning is nurtured and developed as they are prepared with the skills and experiences necessary for kindergarten and ongoing school.
Woodward welcomes all applicants who meet the age requirements to attend the school by September of the current school year. Applications are accepted for all classes.
Applications are available the day after Labor Day for the following school year.

Children from Woodward have continued their education at neighborhood Public Schools as well as the following schools:
The Allen-Stevenson School, The Brearley School, The Browning School, The Buckley School, The Caedmon School, The Chapin School, Collegiate School, The Dalton School, Ethical Culture Fieldston School, Friends Seminary, The Marymount School, The Nightingale Bamford School, St. Bernard's School, St. David's School, St. Ignatius Loyola, The Town School, Trinity School, Trevor Day School, United Nations International School, Hunter College Elementary School, Gifted & Talented programs.

We enrolled our daughter into the Woodward Little Stars program with the highest of expectations. Simply, the academic and care team at Woodward exceeded
our expectations. Our daughter attended 3 days per week and spent her time at home telling us about her adventures during story time,
while painting, and (but not limited to) Cooking Days with Ms. Cheryl. We would recommend Woodward to other families as our daughter loved her Little Stars
experience and the team was always supportive and flexible to meet our needs. Woodward is truly unique to us because of its curriculum, low teacher to student
ratio, and the overall atmosphere created once you step through the doors. Our daughter is excited to return to Woodward in the Fall of 2024.
