At Woodward, each child's natural love of learning is nurtured and developed and they are prepared with the skills and experiences necessary for kindergarten. For those who remain in New York City, children from Woodward regularly continue their education at the following schools:

In accordance with Mrs. Woodward's early mission, families affiliated with the following hospitals are given preference: New York Presbyterian, Weill Cornell Medical College, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS).

Woodward welcomes all applicants who meet the age requirements to attend the school by September of the current school year. Siblings and legacies are given the highest priority. Applications are accepted for all classes: Twos, Threes, and Pre-K.
