Woodward has three classrooms, each with a head teacher and an assistant teacher. A third teacher is added depending on class size. All head teachers at Woodward have a Masters' Degree in Early Childhood. Many assistant teachers also have a Masters' Degree or are working towards this degree. The small ratio of children to teachers ensures that each child receives meaningful attention.

At the end of each school day, teachers prepare together for the following day. Every child is considered in these preparations, as individuals and as part of the class group. Regular staff meetings provide a space for the teachers to share ideas and thoughts together. Teachers maintain and encourage close communication with school parents at daily drop-off and pick-up, as well as in focus sheets and newsletters.

In addition to the classroom teachers, there is a music and creative movement teacher. This teacher also teaches a special class called Musical Stories.

Woodward administration staff includes a School Director, Admissions Director, and Financial Administrator.
